RRT Racing Team BioRRT Racing is a component of Road Race Technologies, Inc. (RRT). RRT is the leading BMW Performance and Service center in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. The creation of RRT Racing was a natural evolution for RRT. RRT's roots were in designing and manufacturing the highest performance and quality parts in the BMW aftermarket, many of which have been imitated by other performance shops since then. Once RRT moved into the current Performance Facility in 2005, the high-end racecar parts business was put aside to focus on race car building, BMW maintenance, and suspension development. Today there are dozens of RRT built and prepared BMW's around the Nation. Each one built to the customer's particular specifications and driving style. Many of these cars have gone on to several championships, overall wins, and class wins while being featured in several national and regional media outlets. The cars built by RRT have campaigned in Grand-Am, World Challenge, BMWCCA, SCCA, and NASA.
RRT Racing in Grand-AmFor the 2009 Grand-Am Koni series, RRT Racing campaigned a 2009 BMW 328i in the ST Class. The racecar was completely built and developed in-house and served as the proving grounds for RRT's suspension and chassis development for the E90/E92 platform. For the 2010 season, RRT Racing is formally rolling out their Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Rental Program with multiple prepared cars.
